Who am I?
We get prompted throughout life to look at ourselves. Sometimes it elicits a negative response ((like during arguments with a significant other or with someone in a more powerful position)) and sometimes we take the time, the moment to listen to what’s being said and let it resonate. When we are shone the mirror of ourselves- our energy - our interactions- the way the world is viewing us in relation to the way that we are viewing ourselves-it can be eye opening and expansive.
We have to consciously let our ego go in these moments. Being told that your view or way of speaking is harsh or misunderstood and is bringing out insecurities or pointing towards a deeper root - it’s good feeling. When you are confronted by someone who cares about your growth, healing and your ability to move forward and they are taking the risk by saying something that could completely derail you- find the strength to not only acknowledge what’s happening and the vulnerability that they had to overcome in order to speak what’s being spoken - take the time to at minimum let is resonate. Let your physical body feel what they are saying. Did you get tense? Is your belly feeling upset? Are you immediately angered? Take it in.
What is being said? Are you able to actually hear it - or are you so angry it’s being said that you’re not quite hearing the whole point? This requires a lot of self discipline and a lot of love. This is a beautiful healing quality
Are you ready to start the journey? What I recommend as a nice into exercise to see if you’re able to intake what’s being outputted - find the person you trust, that you know loves you and wants the best for you without any gain on their part. Next - ask. Ask a pointed question that you’re ready to hear the answer to. That you’re ready to jump into. This is a mirror and it’s the way you’re being reflected.
Some good examples- Do you see me self sabotaging in any areas of my life? Is there anything that it looks like I’m being blinded by? How do you feel after interacting with my energy? These questions are just random and you’ll intuitively know what to ask . The conversation leading up to the questions can be shaped something along the lines of - I’m trying to expand my existence (love it) and I wanted some honest feedback from someone who is important to me, about some questions that have been difficult to ask.
Working on the next journal today - this one has a colaboration effort and is going to be geared towards the more lower vibrational aspect of healing. The part we all have to go through that not everyone talks about.
Spread Love xo- Chris
